Scott Bruckner is a self-taught wood and metal sculptor driven by inspiration and emotion.  Creating sculpture from found objects, milled lumber, and copper, his work is free standing from six to just under eight feet in height.  Each piece is finished to become a part of a contemporary home, adding the warmth of wood that offers creative design in a natural wood medium. Rich wood grain appears in each piece, both polished and roughly exposed.

The artist started his work in earnest in 1985.  He studied Photography, and attended the Art Center School, Los Angeles, in the early 1970’s.  He is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and has been an active member of Toastmasters International for over 10 years.

Scott has lived in Southern California most of his life, and is a member of the Santa Clarita Artists' Association, where he became the President of the Association in January 2005.  His work won the First Place Award for Sculpture in the independently judged 2003 and 2004 Art Classic.  He is also a member of the International Sculpture Center.
